It’s all about expectations. You’re in the middle of the party scene of Playa del Carmen and you pay a lot less than other hotels around. Given these circumstances, this hotel exceeds expectations. Is it the most comfortable hotel ever? No, but everything works and it’s got airco and a nice bed. Is there some music from bars around? Yes, of course. But it is conveniently located and all three staff members that we met were very friendly and helpful.
Within one block of the beach, fantastic , so with that, expect noise and lots of it. On a Friday night, they played music to 4am. The hotel is old, I did not have hot water in the shower. The refrigerator was good to have. Tour buses cannot enter 6th Street, only taxis and cars , but no big deal, I walked 150 feet to 10th Ave intersection for pickup by tour operators.
Amazing location. Clean and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Great value for money in my opinion. Highly recommend. (Also it’s very noisy at night but it didn’t bothered me)
